Job summary

Miller Maxwell Ltd in London is seeking a Network Engineer to join a high-performance, low-latency networking team within a leading financial services organisation.

You will monitor and troubleshoot global networks, design and implement security solutions, and work with development and data centre teams on critical projects.

The role requires CCNA/CCNP and 4-8+ years' experience in financial services networking, with focus on OSPF/BGP/EIGRP and IPsec.

Qualifications

• 4-8+ years of commercial network engineering experience.
• CCNA/CCNP certified.
• Financial services background required.
• Solid knowledge of OSPF, BGP, EIGRP and IPsec.
• Experience with network security, firewalls, segmentation and access control.
• IDS/IPS and network monitoring for security threats.
• Scripting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and resolve network performance issues
• Provide expert-level fault resolution on advanced HFT network connectivity
