Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and scale high-performance data centre networks for a global leader in ultra-low latency trading infrastructure.

You will architect resilient networks, drive automation, and mentor engineers across distributed environments to ensure peak performance and reliability.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale or data centre networks.
  • Strong expertise across BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, spine-leaf architectures, and multicast.
  • Experience with high-performance switching platforms such as Arista, Cisco, NVIDIA/Cumulus, or SONiC.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture, capacity planning, and large-scale infrastructure design.
  • Experience using packet analysis tools such as Wireshark or tcpdump.
  • Exposure to network automation using Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.
