Beaumont is seeking a Network Technical Architect to own the design lifecycle within a close-knit MSP networking team. You will sit with Sales and Pre-sales to shape customer requirements, craft scalable, secure designs, and present them to leadership.

When design work softens, you’ll hands-on deliver the build and support handover. This role suits senior Cisco/Meraki engineers who want design authority or architects who miss hands-on build work, with opportunities to guide 1st/2nd line

Formación

• Senior network professional with design ownership experience in MSP environments.
• Strong Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet expertise.
• Ability to explain complex designs to execs and engineers.
• Certifications such as CCNP/CCDE/CCIE are a strong advantage.

Most architect roles take you away from the kit. This one doesn’t.

An established North East MSP needs a Network Technical Architect for its small, close-knit networking team. You’ll own the design and help deliver it. You’ll sit with Sales and Pre-sales to work out what the customer needs, design something scalable, secure and highly available, then present it to their leadership team. When design work is quieter, you’ll be hands-on delivering it.

If you’re a senior Cisco/Meraki engineer ready for design authority, or an architect who misses doing the build, this is built for you.

What you’ll be doing

• Turning customer requirements into network designs that are the best fit for their budget and their wider estate
• Leading technical presentations and design discussions with customers, up to C-suite
• Designing, deploying and managing the lifecycle of LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, circuits and network security
• Building solutions that hand over cleanly to Support, with monitoring, alerting, patching and documentation in place from day one
• Working with the End User, Cloud & Infrastructure and Security teams so every design fits the bigger picture
• Taking escalations from 1st and 2nd line, and helping develop those teams as you go

What you’ll bring

• Experience as a Technical Architect, or a senior network role with real design ownership, within an MSP
• 3–5+ years in network engineering, with deep Cisco, Meraki and Fortinet expertise
• A track record of designing and delivering complex network solutions end to end
• The ability to explain complex technical problems to both junior engineers and non-technical execs
• CCNP, CCDE, CCIE or CMSS is a strong advantage
