Job summary

West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking a Retrofit Project Manager to lead and oversee government grant home energy projects, focusing on retrofit delivery to reduce fuel poverty. You will coordinate consortium members and housing providers to deliver on time, within budget and quality standards.

The role sits in the Net Zero Delivery team, with a hybrid working pattern and occasional visits to the Bristol office. It is a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2028.

Qualifications

• Experience managing retrofit projects or social housing initiatives.
• Strong financial acumen with grant funding, accruals, invoicing, and budget tracking.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to coordinate dispersed groups.
• Passionate about sustainable housing and fuel poverty initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate retrofit projects with consortium members and social housing providers.
• Validate grant claims, process invoices, and monitor budgets.
• Produce monitoring reports and risk assessments.
