Job summary

Worthing Homes is seeking a driven Sustainability Project Manager to lead low-carbon retrofit, energy efficiency, and biodiversity initiatives, supporting our net-zero ambition.

This 12-month fixed-term maternity cover role offers a 24–30 hour week in Worthing with hybrid working, a strong benefits package, and opportunities to influence sustainability across our 4,000 homes and 10,000 residents.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering carbon reduction, energy efficiency or sustainability projects within housing, property, construction or the built environment.
• Strong understanding of sustainability principles and energy/water efficiency measures.
• Ability to build partnerships and develop compelling business cases and funding bids.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Worthing Homes' sustainability objectives and support transition to net zero.
• Embed sustainability into decision-making and monitor performance.
• Lead on projects focused on low carbon retrofit, energy efficiency and biodiversity improvements.
• Support development team with low-carbon new homes and secure investment.
