Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Software Developer to join the PI Asset Framework team, focusing on .NET/C# features, back-end services, and UI in WinForms/WPF. You will design, implement, and test components across the PI System Explorer, PI Analysis Service, and PI Notifications Service.

The role requires strong C#, .NET, WCF, SQL skills, plus Azure DevOps with YAML pipelines, Agile experience, and familiarity with AI coding tools to accelerate development cycles.

Qualifications

• Experience in C#, .NET, WCF and SQL.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including writing and maintaining YAML pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Proficiency in AI-assisted rapid software development using tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI coding assistants to accelerate development cycles and improve code quality.

Responsibilities

• Design & develop features using .NET/C#, including back-end services.
• Create and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Develop unit and integration tests.
• User interface development in WinForms and WPF.
