Job summary

AVEVA in Cambridge is seeking a Cloud Developer to join the Unified Supply Chain R&D team. You will help build and evolve infrastructure that supports critical workflows, collaborating with a passionate development group to deliver reliable cloud solutions.

The role requires hands-on IaC development, PowerShell scripting, and deep knowledge of Azure services. You will own features from design through production, with opportunities to optimize systems and drive improvements across the platform.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) development.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell or similar.
• Experience and understanding of core Azure services: compute, storage, security, monitoring and diagnostics.
• A proactive self-starting approach, owning work through to production.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely in a team environment to deliver high quality improvements to existing infrastructure platform.
• Contribute to design of infrastructure improvements, balancing robust technical solutions with business value.
• Diagnose and fix issues affecting production infrastructure, supported by experienced colleagues.
• Proactively identify and communicate technical issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
