Job summary

Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a Practice Development Nurse to lead education for the Neonatal Unit, driving induction, preceptorship and competency development across the service. You will work with the Neonatal Unit Manager and multidisciplinary teams to implement national standards and guide service improvements.

Qualifications

Experience leading education and training in a clinical setting.
Experience supporting induction, preceptorship and competency development.
Ability to Champion evidence-based practice and clinical guidelines.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate education and training within the Neonatal Unit.
Support staff induction, preceptorship, competency assessment and ongoing professional development.
Facilitate learning for students, newly qualified nurses and registered staff.
Promote evidence-based practice and implementation of national neonatal standards.
Collaborate with Family and Women's Services for workforce development.
Support mandatory training, safeguarding compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
Act as a professional role model and clinical expert within neonatal care.
