Job summary

County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Neonatal Clinical Educator to lead education and development across neonatal services. You will combine clinical expertise with educational leadership, quality improvement, and workforce development.

You will work with nursing staff, students and allied professionals to implement evidence-based training, governance standards and service improvement initiatives across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with NMC registration.
Demonstrated ability to lead education and training programmes.
Experience in coordinating neonatal education with multi-disciplinary teams.
Evidence of ongoing professional development in neonatal care and education.

Responsibilities

Lead education and training programmes for neonatal staff and students.
Develop competency-based training and support activities.
Drive quality improvement and patient safety through education.
Support service development and governance across neonatal care.
Collaborate with neonatal, paediatric, maternity teams for consistency of care.
