Job summary

Southdown in Lewes is seeking a Wellbeing Service Project Coordinator to help shape and support a neighbourhood approach to mental health and wellbeing across Brighton and Hove and East Sussex. You will coordinate projects, community activities and partnerships, organizing meetings, events and community engagement to connect people with local services and support.

The role involves building relationships with community organisations, gathering feedback, and contributing to service improvements,

Qualifications

• Willingness to work at least one evening (until 8pm) a week.
• Experience of delivering events and facilitating meetings.
• A full driving licence and access to a car or a willingness to travel across Sussex on public transport.
• Project coordination experience (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate neighbourhood projects and community activities across Brighton, Hove and East Sussex.
• Monitor progress and help turn ideas into practical action alongside Neighbourhood Leads.
• Organise meetings, workshops, events and community engagement activities.
• Build strong relationships with community organisations, stakeholders and residents.
• Capture feedback and support service improvements through learning and sharing best practices.
