Southdown is seeking a Mental Health Support Team Manager to lead community-based teams delivering targeted mental health and holistic support across the Brighton area. You will work with GP surgeries, local Southdown sites and community locations, ensuring responsive services and collaboration with partners.

The role requires experience in mental health, a genuine passion for helping clients, and a DBS check paid by Southdown.

Qualifications

• You’ll need a good understanding of working in mental health or equivalent transferable skills.
• You have a genuine passion for supporting people to explore their needs.
• An Enhanced DBS check will be paid for by Southdown.

Responsabilités

• Lead teams delivering targeted mental health and holistic support in the community.
• Collaborate with GP surgeries, Southdown buildings and community sites to meet service needs.
• Apply a solution‑focused approach and foster partnership working for short‑term support.
• Assist with risk assessment and removing barriers to access for clients.
• Support team development and respond to changing service needs.
