Job summary

Great Places Housing Group is seeking a Neighbourhood Services Manager to lead a responsive housing management service across a defined patch of properties. You will support customers, especially the vulnerable, and work to sustain tenancies while promoting independence.

The role requires visibility on the ground, strong collaboration with external partners, and a focus on delivering sustainable neighbourhood improvements through proactive management and inspections.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organise, time-manage and prioritise workload in a hybrid environment.
• Proven relationship builder with external agencies and partners.
• Ability to coach customers to empower them to problem solve and become more independent.
• Adaptable to use a range of CRM software systems.
• Proficient in the full range of Microsoft Office applications.
• Hold a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle for use at work.

Responsibilities

• Handling tenancy-related queries in line with contractual requirements and Great Places policies.
• Providing direct tenancy support to ensure tenancy sustainment.
• Market vacant homes in line with policies and allocate properties that meet customer and business needs.
• Manage rent accounts, coach customers on paying rent and setting up payment plans.
• Respond to anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches with appropriate action.
• Address safeguarding concerns promptly under legal requirements.
• Conduct estate and scheme inspections and monitor neighbourhood service contracts.
• Collaborate with agencies/partners to deliver interventions for customers.
