Job summary

Pertemps Bond in London is seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Manager to lead a busy Housing Service, delivering high-quality neighbourhood and tenancy management while ensuring a responsive, customer-focused service and safe, well-managed communities.

You will manage a team of Neighbourhood & Officers and a Housing Coordinator, driving performance, regulatory compliance and continuous service improvement across your patch.

Qualifications

• Experience managing neighbourhood or housing management services within a Local Authority or Housing Association.
• Strong knowledge of tenancy management, neighbourhood management and housing legislation.
• Experience leading teams and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team delivering high-quality neighbourhood and tenancy management services.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resident satisfaction across homes.
• Oversee tenancy management, estate management, anti-social behaviour (ASB), safeguarding and community engagement.
• Manage complex tenancy cases including enforcement actions, legal proceedings and possessions.
• Ensure compliance with housing legislation, council policies and regulator standards.
• Monitor team performance via KPIs and drive improvement plans.
• Lead estate inspections and coordinate environmental improvements.
• Manage voids, tenancy sign-ups and allocations to minimise turnaround times.
• Ensure Fire Risk Assessments and health & safety actions are completed on time.
• Build relationships with residents, contractors, elected members and external partners.
• Produce performance reports for senior management.
• Support service transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
