Job Title: Neighbourhood Response Officer - Interim

Location: Morden, South London

Rate: £21.05 per hour (PAYE) / £25.00 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract Type: Interim (covering an ongoing absence within the local housing team)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Response Officer to join a local housing team on an interim basis, covering an ongoing absence. You will provide a tenancy and neighbourhood management service, ensuring estates are clean, safe, and well maintained, and that residents receive a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a tenancy management service within a designated patch, including supporting residents to sustain their tenancies.
• Conduct regular estate inspections, identifying and reporting issues and driving improvements.
• Support fire safety compliance across the housing portfolio, prioritising fire safety risk assessment follow-up work.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies, including local partners and resident groups, on neighbourhood safety and ASB issues.
• Provide clear, timely communication to residents throughout their interactions with the service.

Requirements

• Experience of providing a management and tenancy management service within social housing.
• Experience of conducting estate inspections.
• Knowledge and experience of fire safety in social housing.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and external agencies.
• Use of a motor vehicle (essential for travel across the patch).
