Job summary

The Wheatley Group in Glasgow is seeking a Neighbourhood Operative to deliver high-quality environmental services across our communities. You will maintain communal areas, engage with residents, and help create safe, welcoming neighbourhoods while supporting the team in day-to-day tasks.

This temporary role offers varied shift patterns, a competitive SCP salary (£27,300 - £28,938 per annum) based on 35 hours, and a generous leave and benefits package as part of Wheatley's values-driven approach.

About the role

Our Neighbourhood Operatives play a vital role in creating safe, clean and welcoming environments for our customers and communities. Working across our neighbourhoods, you'll take pride in delivering high-quality environmental services, maintaining communal areas. You'll also engage with customers and help make a positive difference to where people live.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining communal areas and neighbourhood environments to a high standard

• grass cutting;
• general cleaning of our neighbourhoods;
• assisting with bulk uplifts and ensuring neighbourhoods remain clean and welcoming
• stair cleaning.
