Job summary

North Wales Housing is seeking a Neighbourhood Officer to cover Llandudno Junction and surrounding areas. The role combines office and field work, with patch-based duties and a permanent contract. Salary is £34,698 per annum, with a 35-hour week and hybrid working patterns.

You will address anti-social behaviour, conduct inspections, and support residents with housing advice and health and safety compliance, while welcoming new residents to the community.

Qualifications

  • General housing management experience.
  • Experience delivering engagement activities for service users.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to complete Basic DBS check.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and on own initiative.
  • Positive 'can-do' attitude.

Neighbourhood Officer

Location: Agile - Llandudno Junction office / Home / Patch based working

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £34,698 per annum

Contract: Permanent

About the role

We're seeking a motivated individual who is prepared to work on various aspects across housing management functions, including support alongside enforcement to address anti-social behaviour, complete scheme inspections and gas access visits, deal with matters relating to occupation contracts.

What you'll be doing
  • Providing a housing management service to a neighbourhood patch
  • Addressing reports of anti-social behaviour
  • Working collaboratively to develop services that support the needs of residents
  • Providing housing advice and support
  • Ensuing health and safety compliance
  • Completing welcome visits for new residents
  • Ensuring a high level of service for residents
About you

You'll have experience of general housing management, and of providing engagement activities for service users.

You'll need:

  • To be able to work on your own initiative
  • A full UK driving licence
