Berneslai Homes in Barnsley is seeking a dedicated Neighbourhood Officer to join our frontline housing team on a full-time, 37-hour week 9-12 month fixed-term contract, based at Carlton Depot or any Barnsley base.
You will deliver proactive tenancy and estate management, manage a patch, welcome tenants, provide advice and referrals, identify vulnerabilities, and address tenancy breaches and anti-social behaviour with appropriate interventions.

As a Neighbourhood Officer, you will provide a proactive, practical and visible tenancy and estate management service to our customers and communities.
Getting out and about across Barsley, you will manage a designated patch, supporting new and existing tenants by providing welcome visits, practical advice and appropriate referrals, and identifying vulnerabilities and safeguarding concerns.
You will manage empty properties, working with internal teams and partners to re-let homes quickly and address tenancy breaches and anti-social behaviour through appropriate interventions when required.
