Job summary

Maryhill Housing Association is seeking a Housing Officer to deliver a great neighbourhood housing management service in the Maryhill and Ruchill areas. You will engage with tenants to ensure tenancy conditions are met and breaches are addressed, while working with a team to maintain service standards.

The role covers arrears management, allocations, ASB, estate management, and partnership activities, with interviews planned for the week starting 2 November 2026 and a closing date of Tuesday 20

Responsibilities

• Provide front line housing management service to a patch of properties in line with policies and statutory requirements.
• Investigate and respond to customer complaints; manage performance and produce monthly KPIs.
• Administer the fair rent process and liaise with support agencies to support tenancy sustainment.
• Allocate and let properties, lead pre-tenancy workshops, and manage voids to minimise relets.
• Manage anti-social behaviour, liaise with Police and relevant agencies, and provide mediation.
• Undertake estate inspections and estate walkabouts; liaise with Neighbourhood team on management issues.
• Lead on partnership activities and community engagement to improve residents’ lives.
• Demonstrate corporate responsibility, comply with policies, and promote clear communication.
