Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Highways NEC4 Supervisor to oversee QA on major highway schemes in Norwich. You will witness inspections, supervise testing, identify defects and ensure works align with contract requirements, industry standards and project specs within an integrated delivery environment.

Applicants should hold NEC4 ECC Supervisor Accreditation, a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent, and proven highway construction experience.

Qualifications

• NEC4 ECC Supervisor Accreditation required.
• Degree/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in design and construction of highway infrastructure.
• Strong writing, client-facing and communication skills.
• Collaborative and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking the duties of NEC4 Supervisor as per contract (ECC).
• Review design information and raise constructability queries for safety and quality.
• Review Inspection and Test Plans and witnessing requirements.
• Witness on-site testing and commissioning; keep records of results.
• Identify defects; verify materials meet contract specs and monitor progress.
• Submit weekly progress reports to Client Project Manager; maintain site records.
• Attend meetings and inspections on and off site; collaborate with the integrated delivery team.
