Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major highways infrastructure project in West Norfolk. The role focuses on commercial leadership, budget control, and NEC contract compliance to deliver a high-profile scheme.

Requirements include proven highways QS experience, NEC3/NEC4 knowledge, and a degree in QS or Civil Engineering. The role supports hybrid working and offers contract or permanent arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering, with highways and Section 278 works.
• Familiarity with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts and cost control processes.
• Relevant degree in QS, Civil Engineering, or Commercial Management; MRICS/CICES desirable.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Management: oversee contract administration under NEC options, budgets, cash flow, and CVR submissions.
• Section 278 & highways works: commercial oversight of alignment, junction builds, diversions, and public interfaces.
• Procurement & subs: draft enquiry packages, negotiate rates, manage subcontract accounts and final accounts.
