Job summary

Advance TRS in Norwich seeks an experienced NEC Supervisor to provide site-based oversight on a major infrastructure project. The role focuses on site inspections, monitoring activities and ensuring works conform to NEC contracts and technical specs.

You will review drawings, manage defects, witness tests, keep records and support handover with as-built information. NEC/NEC4 experience on highways or civil projects and strong reporting skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• NEC Supervisor or Site Supervisor capacity with relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, especially NEC4.
• Experience on highways, infrastructure or civil projects.
• Familiarity with DMRB and Highway Works Specifications.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and construction docs.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Experience using digital inspection or QA/defect systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections and monitor construction activities.
• Oversee quality assurance and ensure works meet standards.
• Identify and manage defects through to resolution.
• Witness tests, inspections and key milestones.
• Maintain accurate site records and reports.
• Review contractor submissions for project compliance.
• Monitor health, safety and environmental performance.
• Support handover through as-built information review.
• Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders to deliver.
