Job summary

Mane is seeking an experienced NEC Supervisor to join a major infrastructure project in Norwich on a 12-month contract. This hands-on, site-based role requires delivering NEC4 ECC supervision, inspections, and ITP compliance.

You will monitor workmanship, witness testing, maintain records, and work with the Project Manager and wider team to ensure quality and conformance to drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience as NEC Supervisor on site.
• Strong knowledge of NEC4 ECC.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and ITPs.
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
• Desirable: NEC4 ECC Supervisor accreditation; knowledge of DMRB and SHW; experience on major infra or highways projects.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the duties of NEC4 ECC Supervisor.
• Carry out regular site inspections and monitor construction quality.
• Inspect works against the Works Information/Scope, specifications and ITPs.
• Witness key hold points, material approvals and site testing.
• Identify, notify and monitor the correction of defects.
• Verify remedial works comply with the required specifications and standards.
• Maintain detailed site diaries and photographic records.
• Monitor health, safety and environmental controls on site.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Support validation of as-built information and handover documentation.
• Ensure quality records and O&M information are complete and traceable.
• Use digital inspection and issue-tracking systems.
• Produce clear and accurate reports and inspection records.
