Job summary

Ceto Talent are supporting a leading engineering consultancy and are looking to appoint an experienced NEC Supervisor to support the delivery of a major infrastructure project in East Anglia. This is a fully site-based role where you'll oversee inspections and defect management, ensuring NEC contract requirements are met.

You'll work with contractors and project teams, carry out inspections/tests, witness hold points and maintain site records while supporting health, safety and project

Qualifications

• Experience undertaking NEC Supervisor duties.
• Good understanding of NEC contracts, NEC4 ECC.
• Experience carrying out site inspections and quality assurance.
• Ability to identify, record and manage defects through to close out.
• Experience working on infrastructure, civil engineering, highways, building or MEP projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Good reporting and record‑keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out the duties of Supervisor under NEC contracts.
• Undertaking inspections and tests in accordance with project requirements.
• Managing defects and ensuring timely resolution.
• Witnessing hold points, materials approvals and testing activities.
• Maintaining site records and supporting project documentation.
• Supporting health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Assisting with project handover and verification activities.
