Job summary

We are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial management on a £4.5m civil engineering and highways project in Milton Keynes. You will oversee NEC4 Option B contract administration, applications and valuations, and cost/value reporting from mobilisation through to final account.

The role requires strong NEC knowledge, a proactive approach to identifying commercial risk and opportunity, and close collaboration with the Project Manager and Tier 1 client teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Quantity Surveying background in civil engineering/highways.
• Experience with NEC contracts is essential.
• Proven cost reporting and forecasting ability.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of the £4.5m subcontract.
• NEC4 contract administration and progress reporting.
• Manage variations, compensation events and final account.
• Maintain contract records and risk/opportunity tracking.
• Liaise with Project Manager and Tier 1 client meetings.
