Job summary

Applus+ is seeking an NDT Technician to perform non-destructive testing and inspection activities at Torness Power Station, supporting EDF Energy contract requirements. You will work within the Applus+ team to ensure inspections meet nuclear industry standards, procedures, and safety requirements.

The role emphasizes quality, compliance, and timely delivery of inspection services, while maintaining professionalism and safety across site operations.

Qualifications

• MPI, DPI, UT 3.1/3.2, RT where applicable are essential NDT techniques.
• Demonstrable experience delivering NDT services in industrial environments.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to prepare technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day inspection activities using approved NDT methods and welding inspection techniques.
• Ensure inspections are safe, accurate, and meet project deadlines and client expectations.
• Maintain communication with Site Managers and Project Managers regarding progress and findings.
• Complete and submit inspection records, timesheets, and documentation accurately.
