Job summary

Applus+ UK is seeking a Trainee NDT Technician based in Clevedon, England, with regular deployment to Hinkley Point C (HPC) and other UK sites. The role develops technical competency across non-destructive testing methods while supporting safe inspection operations, power services electrical testing delivery, and local HSEQ compliance.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with NDT techniques (LPI, MPI, UT, RT) or electrical systems (LV, MV, HV).
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent, health and safety minded.
• Willingness to travel across the UK, including nuclear facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified personnel in NDT activities (LPI, MPI, UT, VI) per codes and procedures.
• Develop skills toward formal NDT certification through hands-on work.
• Log calibration records and inspection tools via internal systems.
• Support Power Services teams with T&D electrical testing on UK contracts.
• Assist Operations Manager with site audits, safety compliance, and documentation.
• Maintain clean, organized work spaces at Clevedon and deployed sites.
