Job summary

Rindt requires a skilled Non-destructive Testing Technician to inspect and report results across a range of products, travelling to customer sites mainly in the Midlands. A PCN Level 2 in MPI and DPI is essential, with a full driving licence.

You will perform examinations, interpret findings and deliver clear reports, working both independently and in a small team under the manager’s supervision. Applicants should have prior NDT inspection experience, be reliable, and willing to work extended

Qualifications

• Previous experience carrying out NDT inspections.
• Experience reading and working to NDT procedures and acceptance levels.
• Confidence working on your own and in a small team.
• Ability to complete post inspection job sheets/reports.
• Conscientious and trustworthy.
• Willing to work extended hours/overtime as required.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Non-destructive Testing Technician to join our team, candidates must have a valid PCN Level 2 in MPI & DPI (minimum) - due to the specifications we work to this is essential.

This varying NDT inspection role will mainly be carried out on customer premises in and around the Midlands although travel further afield is sometimes required, due to the need to travel to customer premises the candidate would be required to hold a full driving licence.

As an NDT inspector you will be responsible for the examination, interpretation and reporting of results to the customer in a variety of techniques and products including forgings, fabrications, wrought products and site shut down work.

You will be expected to work both on your own and in a team reporting to the manager.
