Job summary

Employment Solutions Ltd. is seeking a skilled NDT Inspector to perform tests and inspect products at various stages of the production process. The role emphasizes non-destructive testing to ensure material and product integrity and quality.

You will work closely with the Quality Manager to maintain high standards. The candidate should have PCN Level 2 MT/MPI and VT or CSWIP, with proven NDT/NDE experience and the ability to read specifications and drawings.

Qualifications

• PCN Level 2 MT/MPI and VT or CSWIP are required.
• Proven experience in an NDT/NDE role.
• Ability to interpret specifications and engineering drawings.
• Ability to use quality instruments such as weld gauges, micrometres and steel rulers.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive tests focused on MT and VT techniques.
• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment and ensure proper operation.
• Review part prints, procedures and work instructions for testing accuracy.
• Document test reports and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with the Quality Manager to address quality issues and ensure process compliance.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled NDT Inspector to perform tests and inspecting products at various stages of the production process. The role focuses on non-destructive testing to ensure the quality and integrity of materials and products. The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Manager to maintain high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform various non-destructive tests predominantly focused on MT & VT techniques.
• Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment and ensure its correct operation.
• Review part prints, procedures, and work instructions to complete testing accurately.
• Document reports and implement corrective and preventative actions as needed.
• Coordinate with the Quality Manager to address quality issues and ensure compliance with company processes.

Requirements:

• PCN Level 2 in Magnetic Particle inspection (MT/MPI), and Visual Testing (VT) or CSWIP.
• Proven experience in an NDT / NDE role
• Ability to interpret specifications & engineering drawings
• Ability to use Quality instruments; weld gauges, micrometres, steel ruler, etc.Location: South Manchester

Contract - ongoing.

Full Time, (Mon-Thurs), (Fri)

Pay Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience) via PAYE or UMBRELLA + Overtime.

Benefits:

• 7% Pension Contributions, 4% from candidate, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
