Job Opportunity: NDT Level 2 Technician

Our aerospace client based in Crewkerne is currently recruiting for a permanent NDT Level 2 Technician.

Key Skills Required:

• Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
• Radiography Testing (RT)
• Level 2 certification

Position Summary:

Conduct ultrasonic testing on composite assemblies to ensure products meet customer acceptance criteria and comply with manufacturing instructions and specifications. Support other activities as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop ultrasonic testing techniques.
• Generate inspection and Non-Conformance Reports.
• Maintain test records and analysis results for traceability and proficiency.
• Adhere to safety procedures when using test equipment.
• Support NDT, Quality, and Operations teams, fostering continuous improvement.

Personal Requirements:

• Current EN4179 Level 2 certification in UT.
• Experience with composite materials and aerospace industry preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Manual dexterity and practical skills.
• Attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Organized with the ability to manage multiple activities.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
• Proficiency in Windows-based systems.
