Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Derby is seeking an NDT Level 2 Inspector to perform magnetic and penetrant inspections on a range of components, following instructions, specifications and standards. Role requires aerospace experience or PCN Level 2, self-motivation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision as part of a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Asset care and able to solve problems and make decisions without direction.
• Use & understanding of stereo binocular inspection equipment and interpretation of Manufacturing Instructions & drawings.
• Working to Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Standards & Technique Instructions.
• Qualified lifting and slinging, as well as HPC knowledge and application.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and standardising equipment, systematically inspecting parts, interpreting, and evaluating for acceptances or rejections, and documenting results.
• Experience in an Aerospace environment or a PCN Level 2, self-motivated and able to work with little supervision as part of an integrated high performing team.
• Raising failed inspection and correction documentation, and operation of SAP work booking system and INSPECT inspection results booking system.
• Work to Rolls-Royce Quality & Health, Safety, Environmental Procedures and participate in Improvement activities.
• Delivery of all components associated with the team's accountabilities; ability to work on own initiative and participate in improvement activities.
