Job summary

W Talent is seeking an NDT Inspector in Nottingham for a permanent role within its Test and Inspection team. You will carry out non-destructive testing across a 3-shift pattern, primarily using Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI), to ensure products meet quality and customer standards.

Requirements include Level 2 NDT accreditation and experience in aerospace or heavy engineering. Strong attention to detail, good communication, and willingness to cross-train are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 NDT accreditation is essential.
• FPI experience is preferred.
• Experience in aerospace or heavy engineering is highly desirable.
• Experience in other NDT methods will be considered.
• Strong understanding of quality and safety requirements.
• Good attention to detail and methodical inspection approach.
• Good communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Willingness to cross-train and complete onsite assessments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out NDT inspections in line with procedures and customer requirements.
• Complete Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) where required.
• Identify and report defects and non-conformances.
• Ensure inspections meet required standards and maintain records.
• Work with production and quality teams to support quality and delivery.
• Maintain focus on quality, safety, and compliance at all times.
• Support cross-training across departments when needed.
• Complete onsite examinations and practical assessments as part of approval.
