Job summary

Rolls-Royce is hiring an NDT Level 2 Inspector for their Derby site on a full-time, two-shift pattern. The role focuses on magnetic and penetrant inspection of aerospace components, with responsibilities spanning setup, systematic inspection, result documentation, and contributing to lean initiatives under RRPS.

Ideal candidates have prior aerospace NDT experience (PCN Level 2 preferred) and can work with minimal supervision within a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Asset care knowledge and ability to solve problems without direction.
• Understanding of stereo binocular inspection equipment and interpretation of drawings/manufacturing instructions.
• Work to Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Standards and Technique Instructions.
• Experience with lifting and slinging; HPC knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and standardise equipment; inspect parts; interpret results and decide accept/reject.
• Raise failed inspection and document corrections; operate SAP work booking system and INSPECT booking system.
• Follow Rolls-Royce Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental procedures; participate in improvement activities.
• Deliver all components within the team’s accountabilities; work autonomously and engage in improvement activities.
