Job summary

ES Recruit is seeking a skilled NDT Inspector to perform non-destructive testing across production stages in South Manchester. You will work with the Quality Manager to maintain high standards and ensure product integrity.

Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating MT and VT equipment, reviewing part prints, and documenting reports with corrective actions. Candidates should hold PCN Level 2 MT/MPI and VT or CSWIP, have proven NDT experience, and be able to interpret specifications and

Qualifications

• PCN Level 2 MT/MPI & VT or CSWIP required.
• Experience in an NDT/NDE role within manufacturing or engineering.
• Ability to interpret specifications and engineering drawings.
• Ability to use quality instruments (weld gauges, micrometres, steel ruler).

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive tests focused on MT and VT techniques.
• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment and ensure proper operation.
• Review part prints, procedures and work instructions for accurate testing.
• Document reports and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Quality Manager to address quality issues and ensure compliance.
