Job summary

Finning (UK) Ltd. is seeking a warehouse operative based at the National Distribution Centre in Cannock. You will be responsible for safe and accurate receiving, storage, picking, counting, packing and distribution of stock.

You’ll also manage the Parts Counter facing customers to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and in full. The role requires loading/unloading, accurate picking/packing, and dispatch through courier networks, with a focus on KPI/SLA achievement and stock accuracy while

Job Description

Major Job Functions: To correctly load and unload, inbound and outbound deliveries, correctly identifying and labelling goods to ensure the right destination is reached. Accurately pick, pack, and ship all part orders to meet the customer needs. To dispatch and deliver parts through various courier networks. Ensure parts are located in a timely manner and in the correct location.

Accountability

Increase parts order velocity to improve customer satisfaction levels. Contribute to continuously improving warehouse processes and procedures. To achieve 99% stock accuracy in the main warehouse by working accurately and responsibly.

Responsible for adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental policies, taking a dedicated approach to reduce risks in the workplace, with focus on adherence to the Finning Life Saving rules. Responsible for reporting discrepancies / damage to any stock. To report to Warehouse Team Leader any problems with the physical aspects of stores operation such as damaged goods, out of stock situations, delivery shortages, mis-descriptions.

Responsibility for housekeeping to a high standard to achieve minimum 3-star contamination control. Flexibility to meet changing customer demands. Engaged and motivated to deliver personal performance to meet objectives and Key Performance Indicators.

Education & Experience

FLT Licence. Warehouse Experience desirable.
