Job summary

Last Mile in Glasgow is seeking an NCO Assistant to support the Team Leader and help deliver planned works in the multi-utility sector.

You will work safely to install gas and water services in line with WIRS and GIRS, helping ensure projects meet the highest standards. This role is based in Glasgow, with a collaborative team and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting main and service layers on multi-utility or single utility works.
• NCO Assistant in Gas & Water
• SHEA Gas, Water or Electric

Responsibilities

• Report near misses when on and off site
• Keep work areas tidy and clear of debris
• Follow Team Leader’s instructions and guidance
• Work safely and follow risk assessments and method statements

As an NCO Assistant, you will support your Team Leader and contribute to the successful delivery of planned works. You will work safely and efficiently to install gas and water services in line with WIRS and GIRS requirements, helping to ensure that every project is completed to the highest standards.
