You will work with experienced engineers to analyse structural integrity, assess modifications, and apply academic knowledge to protect lives and national security, gaining practical maritime defence experience.

Qualifications

• Final year of a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Structural/Mechanical/Naval engineering or related field.
• Must be eligible to obtain BPSS and SC security clearance.
• UK national status may be required under national security rules.

Responsibilities

• Analyse submarine strength and platform structures.
• Evaluate designs for explosive shock survivability.
• Contribute to in-service modifications and future innovations.
