Job summary

Deutsche Bank in London is seeking an Associate for the Natural Resources Group (NRG) within Investment Banking Coverage & Advisory. You will support origination and execution of M&A, Leverage Finance and ECM transactions for NRG clients, and coordinate with senior bankers to deliver across sectors.

Ideal candidates have Corporate Finance advisory experience, strong financial modelling and valuation skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Relevant Corporate Finance experience across advisory and capital market products.
• Proven execution skills, complex deal understanding and structuring capabilities in M&A, Leverage Finance and ECM.
• Strong analytical approach with creative problem-solving abilities.
• High initiative, pro-activity and organisational skills to manage multiple client projects.

Responsibilities

• Supporting wider teams in the coverage effort of key NRG accounts.
• Coordinating and assisting in origination and execution of M&A, Leverage Finance and ECM transactions with NRG clients.
• Conducting sector and company research, quantitative analysis, company valuation, credit analysis and financial modelling.
• Communicating with clients, advisers and senior investment bankers during origination and execution projects.
• Guiding production of client materials using sector knowledge and assisting bankers on NRG opportunities.
• Mentoring juniors in the team.
