Job summary

Deutsche Bank in London seeks an Associate for Industrials/Business Services coverage within Investment Banking. You will contribute to execution, client communications, and market intelligence across UK-listed advisory work and broad M&A engagements.

The role emphasizes financial modelling, due diligence, and collaboration with senior bankers to identify opportunities and deliver high-quality presentations to clients and investors.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in Investment Banking or relevant financial services role.
• Ideally public and/or private M&A experience.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and corporate finance.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Transaction execution including day-to-day project and process management, financial modelling, structuring, due diligence, documentation, and management of legal and accounting workstreams.
• Assisting senior team members with origination of new business, including identification of target opportunities.
• Assisting with the preparation of presentations for clients, investors, and the broader investment community and responding to client-specific requests.
• Communicating with clients, advisers, and senior investment bankers, including participation in client meetings and events.
• Working with retained UK-listed advisory clients, providing market intelligence alongside broader strategic and M&A advice.
• Preparing complex financial analysis and developing knowledge of subsectors and geographies within the team’s remit.
