Job summary

Example Recruitment Group is seeking a National Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Utilities and Arboriculture sectors. You will lead a national BD strategy, win service contracts worth £500k+ per annum, and build a strong pipeline through direct engagement and strategic partnerships.

You should have a proven track record in selling services to utilities/infrastructure clients and be comfortable operating nationwide with a hybrid UK-wide remit.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of selling services into utility companies, infrastructure organisations or similar large-scale clients.
• Experienced in managing full business development cycles including tendering and contract awards.
• Strong understanding of procurement, frameworks and commercial negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a national BD strategy across Utilities and Arboriculture sectors.
• Identify and secure new contract opportunities aligned with growth plans.
• Build a strong pipeline of opportunities, targeting £20m+ pipeline.
• Lead bids from qualification to contract award with bid managers and teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM forecasts and monitor major contract opportunities.
