Example Recruitment Group is seeking a National Business Development Manager to drive growth across Utilities and Arboriculture on a national scale. This hybrid role covers UK-wide opportunities with a focus on securing significant contracts and building a strong pipeline of service-based opportunities.

You will develop strategies, engage directly with utilities and infrastructure clients, and manage tender processes to win major contracts. Strong sector relationships are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience selling services into utility companies, infrastructure organisations or related major clients.
• Demonstrable track record of winning new business and significant service-based contracts.
• Established relationships within utilities/infrastructure sector.
• Experience managing the full business development cycle from engagement to tender/award.

Responsibilities

• Develop national BD strategy across Utilities and Arboriculture.
• Identify and secure new contract opportunities aligned with growth plans.
• Build a qualified pipeline, targeting £20m+.
• Generate new business through direct engagement, frameworks and tenders.
• Target contracts worth £500k+ per annum; use procurement frameworks and partnerships.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders across utility companies and local authorities.
