GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a National Operations Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of the Valero contract across the UK.

The role focuses on operational excellence, commercial performance, and customer success while managing multi-site teams and engaging senior stakeholders. You will balance safety, compliance, and performance across a nationally dispersed fuel network, with a strong emphasis on governance and industrial relations.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of large-scale transport operations.
• Experience delivering profitability and cost control across a national contract.
• Extensive experience in unionised environments and industrial relations management.
• Strong knowledge of safety, compliance, and governance in national networks.
• Ability to build senior stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operational performance of the Valero contract across the UK.
• Own contract profitability, budgets, and cost optimization.
• Champion health, safety, and regulatory compliance across all sites.
• Engage with senior customer stakeholders and contract governance teams.
• Develop and guide high-performing teams and manage union relations.
