Are you ready to take on a challenging role as a National Training Area Manager (Radar and CCTV) with Landmarc? Join us in ensuring the effective management of Ranges, Training Areas, and Training Facilities, focusing on the NTAM specialist area.

The Role

As a National Training Area Manager (Radar and CCTV), you will:

  • Support the Ranges and Training Areas Assurance Manager in developing processes and guidance for contract requirements.
  • Conduct technical inspections on surveillance systems and oversee remedial works.
  • Manage and deliver RADAR, CCTV, and software platform training.
  • Implement internal audit programmes and recommend business process improvements.
  • Provide technical support for surveillance system design, compliance, and operation.
  • Lead reactive maintenance works and report on expenditure.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective training area surveillance and operation.
  • Ensure compliance with the Internal Control Document.

The Candidate

As a National Training Area Manager (Radar and CCTV), you should have:

  • Ability to travel to national meetings and conferences in the UK.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Knowledge of RADAR and CCTV surveillance systems and RAF CIS based Authorisations.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety standards such as COSHH and IOSH Managing Safely.
  • Experience with facilities management methodologies.
  • Competence to appoint RAF based engineering authorisations.
  • Ability to explain contractual requirements and ensure quality standards.
  • Skills to plan, analyse, and act on management information.
  • Proficiency in teaching and operating VTS or surveillance system software.
