Fresh New Business Manager - Home/Field Based

Salary: £45k-£55k (dependent on experience) plus uncapped commission, OTE £65k-£70k

We are seeking a New Business Manager to join our Fresh division during a growth phase. Your role will involve understanding client needs, driving sales growth, and establishing lasting relationships.

What you will be doing:
  1. Winning commercial new business from customers with fresh food spend of £1M+ through active prospecting and managing a pipeline of opportunities.
  2. Building cross-functional relationships with prospects to position Fresh Direct and Sysco GB as their preferred supply partners, encouraging them to approach you for supplier reviews.
  3. Achieving and exceeding sales and margin targets aligned with the Fresh Direct New Business budget.
  4. Liaising with and influencing cross-functional team colleagues to deliver high-quality tender submissions and business proposals within established guidelines.
What we are looking for:
  1. Experience in sales, with a proven track record of winning new business.
  2. Exceptional customer relationship and rapport-building skills.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
  4. Strong solution selling and negotiation skills.
  5. Good commercial acumen and understanding of profit levers.
  6. High energy levels and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
  7. Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel for presentations and tender evaluations.
