GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Senior General Manager to lead a national network of 11 sites within the B&Q Supply Chain Fulfilment Network, with end-to-end ownership of P&L and a 500-strong workforce.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will drive safety, service, financial performance and transformation across warehousing and transport operations, while traveling frequently across the UK. The role offers £95,000-£105,000 plus benefits including 25 days leave, a company car or car

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within large-scale logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or transport operations.
• Proven ownership of substantial operational budgets and P&L responsibility within a multi-site environment.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience balancing customer expectations, operational performance, and financial outcomes.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
• Demonstrable experience leading large-scale change, transformation, automation, or operational improvement programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across a national warehouse and transport network, ensuring operational, customer, and commercial objectives are achieved.
• Take full ownership of the network P&L, driving financial performance, cost optimisation, and sustainable growth.
• Lead and develop a team of senior operational leaders, creating a high-performing culture focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Drive service excellence by ensuring customer SLAs and KPIs are consistently achieved across all locations.
• Champion the highest standards of health, safety, compliance, and operational governance throughout the network.
