National HGV Class 1 Driver – Hazardous Waste Transport

Job summary

YellowStone Environmental Solutions is expanding its nationwide driver team, based from Shaftesbury, with travel across the UK to collect and deliver hazardous and non-hazardous waste. The role is permanent, full-time, with 48 hours plus overtime and a competitive salary plus benefits.

As a YellowStone Driver you will operate HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers, plan routes, perform daily checks, and maintain safety and compliance while delivering excellent customer service on every job.

Qualifications

• 12 months’ experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• A valid HGV (C) licence, CPC card, Digital Tachograph card.
• ADR licence is desired but not essential.
• Experience operating road tankers and vacuum tankers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Confidence working in all weather conditions and in a physically demanding role.
• A commitment to safety, compliance, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers
• Supporting loaders when the vehicle is stationary
• Planning your own routes and managing time critical schedules
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Staying compliant with safety regulations and legal driving hours
• Providing excellent customer service on every job
