Job summary

YellowStone Environmental Solutions is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our national team, based from Shaftesbury and travelling nationwide across the UK to collect and deliver hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

You will operate Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tanks, plan routes, perform daily checks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and hours. A professional approach, reliability, and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months’ experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• Valid HGV (C) licence, CPC, Digital Tachograph card.
• ADR licence is desirable but not essential.
• Experience operating road tankers and vacuum tankers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers.
• Support loaders when the vehicle is stationary.
• Plan routes and manage time-critical schedules.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Stay compliant with safety regulations and driving hours.
• Provide excellent customer service on every job.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a YellowStone Driver, you’ll play a key role in our national operation, travelling across the UK to collect and deliver hazardous and non hazardous waste. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers
• Supporting loaders when the vehicle is stationary
• Planning your own routes and managing time critical schedules
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Staying compliant with safety regulations and legal driving hours
• Providing excellent customer service on every job

What You’ll Bring

You’re not just a driver — you’re a professional who takes pride in doing things right. We’re looking for:

• At least 12 months’ experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles
