Job summary

YellowStone Environmental Solutions requires a safety‑driven HGV Class 1 Driver based from Shaftesbury, traveling nationwide across the UK to collect and deliver waste. The role is permanent, full‑time (48 hours plus overtime) with a competitive salary and benefits.

You will operate HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers, plan routes, perform vehicle checks, and ensure compliance with safety rules and driving hours while delivering excellent customer service on every job.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months’ experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• A valid HGV (C) licence, CPC card, Digital Tachograph card.
• ADR licence is desirable but not essential.
• Experience operating road tankers and vacuum tankers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to safety, compliance and teamwork.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a YellowStone Driver, you’ll play a key role in our national operation, travelling across the UK to collect and deliver hazardous and non hazardous waste. Your responsibilities will include:

Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers

Supporting loaders when the vehicle is stationary

Planning your own routes and managing time critical schedules

Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

Staying compliant with safety regulations and legal driving hours

Providing excellent customer service on every job

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring
