Job summary

YellowStone Environmental Solutions based in Shaftesbury is recruiting a professional HGV Driver to support a nationwide operation across the UK. You will operate HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers, plan routes, and maintain the highest safety standards throughout every shift.

This permanent, full‑time role offers 48 hours per week plus overtime, a competitive salary and benefits, and opportunities to contribute to essential waste disposal services across the country.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid HGV (C) licence, CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• ADR licence is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with road tankers and vacuum tankers.
• Ability to work independently and safely in all weather.
• Commitment to safety, compliance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers on nationwide routes.
• Support loaders when the vehicle is stationary.
• Plan routes and manage time‑critical schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and driving hours.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a YellowStone Driver, you’ll play a key role in our national operation, travelling across the UK to collect and deliver hazardous and non hazardous waste. Your responsibilities will include:

Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers

Supporting loaders when the vehicle is stationary

Planning your own routes and managing time critical schedules

Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

Staying compliant with safety regulations and legal driving hours

Providing excellent customer service on every job

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

You’re not just a driver — you’re a professional who takes pride in doing things right. We’re looking for:

• At least 12 months’ experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles
• A valid HGV (C) licence, CPC card, Digital Tachograph card
