Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals Careers is seeking a National Business Development Manager to lead revenue growth with major customers in Mechanical and Engineering sectors nationwide. The role requires extensive experience with low level access equipment and strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.

You will design and deliver a commercial strategy with the sales and account management teams to achieve high ROI and align with Sunbelt Rentals objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management with large customers.
• Significant experience in Plant and Tool Hire industry.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a performance management process for the PA Sales community to improve capability, call activity, portfolio and area growth.
• Develop and manage a National project and portfolio pipeline to drive new business growth through relevant sales channels and business sectors.
• Work with National accounts to promote and increase share of wallet for Powered Access.
• Implement a sales and marketing strategy leveraging Sunbelt Rentals solutions for working at height (Telematics, Access Control, Ancillaries, Material Handling Attachments).
• Develop and coordinate training programs to increase product knowledge and safety awareness across Sales Channels and Hire Desks.
• Work with marketing to align campaigns and collateral with new products and underutilized products.
• Identify new markets and underpenetrated sectors and create strategy to gain traction and market share.
• Develop pricing governance to improve discounting and ROI.
• Promote cross-selling opportunities across divisions.
