Field Sales Operations Manager National

Background: FMCG Convenience / RETAIL PHARMACY / FIELD SALES / RETAIL STORES MERCHANDISING

Territory: National | Reference: KSP/COMB

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Field Operations Manager (National). The role primarily involves managing a field team, driving sales, ensuring high standards in the field, and maintaining compliance with company procedures.

This multifaceted position requires the manager to liaise, report, and support the leadership team. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading, motivating, and developing the team to achieve store excellence and customer service standards.
  2. Ensuring compliance and best practices are followed.
  3. Auditing the field team and conducting field visits as per company expectations.
  4. Providing constructive feedback, challenging poor practices, and celebrating successes.
  5. Coaching, training, and onboarding new team members.
  6. Building relationships with the team and customers.
  7. Driving sales in the field.
  8. Effective time management and report submission.
  9. Maintaining excellent communication skills.
Key Requirements:
  • Strong personal integrity and the ability to influence change.
  • Willingness to travel nationally, spending approximately 4 days a week in the field.
  • Experience managing field sales teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Self-starter capable of managing workload with minimal supervision.
  • Team player with collaboration skills.
  • Resilient, determined, and proactive in resolving issues.
  • Confident in handling difficult situations and conflicts.
  • Professional personal presentation.
  • Fluent in English; bilingual skills advantageous.
  • Educational qualification up to GCSE level.
  • Experience or knowledge of retail outlet visits.
  • Proficiency in IT systems including Word, Excel, Email.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
Remuneration:
  • Competitive annual salary with end-of-year bonus.
  • OTE £50,000 to £55,000 per annum.
  • Vehicle allowance, mobile phone, and laptop.
  • Auto-enrollment pension scheme after 3 months.
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays.
  • Birthday vouchers and incentives.
